Has anyone tried Windows Live Beta?

MSN had an update this morning Service Pack XP3

On dial up it took 45 mins to completely reconfig my computer and update all of the files. It also did a clean up, only problem I ran into was an error code 2771 on Windows Live Messenger, however it appers to be working aok.

I was thinking that if I switched to the new Beta Messenger it would clear the 2771 error code which tries to reload Messenger Live. Although I am on dial up my computer meets the speed, resolution etc requirements.

Any help would be appreciated

Well I took the plunge, downloaded Windows Live Beta
Started at 9:30 am

Windows Installer Beta fired up at 9:45 am
On dial up finished at 1500 hrs took 5 1/2 hours

It was worth it, looks good, works good and also fixed the error code 2771
